Intercept with fighter in India? Against bomber and fighter? I had to skimp on escorts to get acceptable odds on my other battles.

I wanted to put a CV fleet by India for convoy blockage and to put another fighter escort in India, but ran out of units. I think I have protected all my transports. But its still always a challenge to get enough new troops to the front. India has so many units. I’m glad that I’m finally cutting its ability to produce more units. Hope to cut China’s army down to a modest size. I think that the advance units of the Siberian army will head for Moscow and not divert to China. Japan’s moves are so much more complex than Germany’s.

China will be finished next turn, unless Russia unwisely intervenes and makes an unprovoked DOW. I learned that the hard way when I started playing BM instead of G40. Regarding Russia protecting Leningrad with sizable army, A&A doesn’t lend itself to duplicating historical accuracy. A&A makes it unlikely that Russia can defend it because of the massive Luftwaffe. When in the actual history, the city held out for a 3 1/2 year siege and never surrendered, due to massive commitment of ground troops and determination.

But you are hard to keep down, like a jack in the box. The U.S. will have 5 transports and a beefed up fleet in sz91 next turn. The Italians picked up some nice real estate in Russia, but I would have preferred to have taken Libya. The 8, now 7 man army in Tun doesn’t look so big now with the U.S. and UK building up. I considered convoying an AA gun, but I’d better build up the homeland instead.
