Argh! Darn perverse AA got me again. J3 1-of- 2; J5 0-for-1; now 1-for-1. Indian AA shot down all of my bombers. That’s 2-for-4 hits. In my last game against Owentoo, even worse. first SBR on India 1-for-2 hits, very next turn 1-for-1. India shot down my entire bomber force in 2 turns, 2-for 3. I finally conquered India, but had negative TUV in this game and that game. UK AA 0-for-4, damage maxed out. Moscow 0-5, damage maxed out. It’s the solo bombers that lose the odds.

Nuts, didn’t consider the UK bomber going to DNG. I didn’t need to move both the CR and DD from sz36, since I had additional planes that were able to land on Java CVs. The CR and DD could have defended the transport and attacked US in Caroline Isles.
@FMErwinRommel Was too good a target to miss as you had fighter defence in FIC! Its very hard to check every movement area in the south pac…lots of quirky angles
Grrr, 2 lousy UK subs caused 10 damage, 5 per sub. In my last game as Axis with Owentoo, and my last game with you as Allies, there were 5 UK subs in sz97 for 3-4 turns. When I was Italy, the subs did max damage to me, averaging 2.1 damage per dice. But in the game where I was the Allies, my subs averaged 1.4 damage per dice. Earlier in our last game, my 3 U.S. and 3 UK subs rolled great, 20 points, but maxed out at 10 damage.

What a disaster. The first time around, I killed both defenders and took no hits. This time, I missed and both defenders hit. So I didn’t get Cauc or even weaken it for Germany. I got more income, but that’s not as good as the battle reversal.
