General 6 Stars 1941 WW2 Game

Yeah, lock Larry in a small room so the game wouldn’t have crazy stuff like capturing capitals and collecting money at the end of a turn.

Start in 1901 and let the powers go at it as they will.

Now have 2 sets of rules with optional rules.

Standard rules use a more Axis & Allies turn based system.

In standard rules, all Axis move first simultaneously, followed by Allies.  That would encompass 1 entire season (4 seasons to a year).

Defender withdrawing still allowed, but can no longer move units into space the attacker is attacking (except for air units).

No more initiative in standard rules.

We have a three strikes and out rule here. Three major spelling errors of simple words and lots of  :x :-P :oops: :x 8-) :evil: :roll: and waaa!!!%%&$%$**( = deleted post).

Consider this Baseball except with syntax.

1. IPC Chips; FMG Logo w/ “number” face-up (Since US has a huge IPC count, a 20 IPC chip is needed)

2. Damage Counters; “Damage” Logo face-up

I have a few things to offer, but seek your clarification first.

You start Taliking about 1960’s games, I start thinking about my Favorite Aircraft ever.

So a Chopper Unit is a Must!. or at least available as a tech.

Imagine the world map cut up into regions a la the A&A game board. You take turns moving resources, units, buying technologies, etc towards the objective of capturing opponents’ capital cities set in WWII. However, instead of rolling dice to determine conflicts as in A&A - you jump onto the battlefield and use the resources that were moved into the territory of conflict to play out a RTS battle. Being an A&A board game nut from my high school days AND a RTS fan, I absolutely consider it the best of both worlds.
