Lol Just moved planes back from last game.

Ya rule is one gun in each of the 7 territories on setup and can build up to 3 per territory so you see max strength. Cost is 2 icps each. For each gun Defends @4 and boost 1 inf on defense +1
Can take as a casualty.

Been awhile. last game Allies won again. Have another game Jan 28th.
Hopefully get this lighter map done in time.

Wow. got map printed up. What a big difference. Its like the map only looks like a 3x6. Pics are deceiving. Well it gonna take a bit of getting used to by me and group. But now all the pieces stand out real good.

Alright. Setup on new map. “Operation Smoky” week from Saturday.

Well had a game but ended early. Have a few pics in a bit. In mean time we are adding Rangoon as a victory city to give Japan more chances of an extra point and besides there was a ton of fighting in Burma in real war which we still lack some what in game.
And added another 3 island group in Med ( red dots ) and Pacific ( brown dots ) for Japan.

Bumped Tired of stuff gettin buried.

End of Turn 1 from Saturday’s game. Wolf packs in full mode. They did win a huge battle on turn 1 against the UK fleet west of London. UK did not kill one sub with 2 BB 2 CR 2 DD 2 scrambled figs plus 2 missed rerolls for the admiral in the fleet commanding. UN REAL !
Germany first strike was way above average. That’s the Chance Germany takes.
Italy grabbing Malta and all the islands plus Germany grabbing Gibraltar for the 3 island group money bonuses.
Also US did not come out of port turn 1 which they need to do so they can hit subs on turn 2. It is what it was.
UK desert rats didn’t come out of Sahara desert turn 1 to. But we only had 4 guys so when playing multiple countries some stuff gets missed. Sucks big time but got no choice if you even want to play. 😍

End of turn 2. US moved to Morocco sz but was a non combat move with some reinforcements in Liberia. Italy went to the Middle East for oil after Germany influenced Turkey to try to get oil bonus points and income. But Uk and Russia was able to counter most of it. But not pictured is Germany will on turn 5 will go into Rostov in the North. Plus Italy went back home to get supplies and has to decide whether there going to go back in Middle East and fortify Tobruk.
UK can bring out Navy if they want but maybe to risky. Then we had to end game at end of turn 4 based on 4 players and time limits.

This is the pacific at end of turn 2 US attacked the Japan fleet and won with 7 cruisers left in coast off of Vietnam on turn 4. Japan can counter. I wouldn’t say this game over with yet. Depends on turns 5-6 in Europe.
But was great playing on new map. Bigger and brighter. Couple more changes to it and a few tweaks for Japan so now we added Rangoon as a VC and force the units hopefully to come out of Calcutta towards Burma and Middle East while keeping capital city.

Keep in mind also my game is the only one that has the India Lovejoy rule when Calcutta falls.

Here’s a pic on Germany’s next turn. Germans have Rostov and will get Stalingrad since Moscow can’t send most troops that way based on eastern front pressure with Raspituta season - move only 1 and there’s 34 tanks in Rostov. Italy can drop off 8-10 ground in Rostov to defend plus turkey units moving out in middle east since Turkey was influenced by Germany on turn 2.
But on Japan side it be tougher and if axis wins it will be on turn 6 but depends on pacific.

OK. Next game Saturday. After many games and trying to find that 1 more point for Japan to get and help more with the win is going to be Rangoon is a VC now. It’s Gotta bring more action to Burma. If FEC slips up than japan may get to hit Calcutta too. This may open the door a bit more for axis to get Cairo to. Depends on which ground units are gonna jump around for the triangle affect. Also open Middle East up a bit. Gives axis more options for wins.

Here’s some pics of the game. Germany up hill after turn 1. Some bad rolls etc etc. japan doing ok. US late start in Pacific. Can be costly.
Allies pretty much gonna win.

We are going to go to each country gets there own tech chart now instead of getting a bad one every so often. This way now it will be good. Still have to roll a d6 dice to see what you get.

Also going to add the Armistice of Italy to game.
If Southern Italy falls this is what happens now.

1. Italy out of game.
2. Conquer gets Italy’s money.
3. Roll for Italy ships.
   Roll of 1 Germany receives ship and move to Rome sz.
   Roll 2-6 ship is destroyed.
   Roll 7-12 UK recieves the ship and moves to Malta sz.
4. Any controlled territory under Italian becomes Germany and they
   can collect the money.
5. Remove all Italian inf ground units and planes from game except
   in Northern Italy and Rome. All theses units become German.

Allies joint strike now even in play for med now too.

The tech chart is new. Most of it finalized unless somebody may have another one. We Ave about 6 techs per game. We want tech to be good if you get now for all with Italy basically getting more NA’s since they really didn’t have any tech.

Ya great time at game. Carl got diced and or played Germany a bit different ( no Idea ) and seems it was a up hill battle from there.
Japan took Schezwan and Rangoon with 3 other cities there so it was nice for Japan to get that extra point or 2 and force even more action in Pacific but this game US didn’t come right out which it needs to do.

Good action down by the Dutch Islands. But again the India and Anzac fleet didn’t hookup with US fleet.

I played Japan. Ya as far as Carl you’d have to talk to him on what really happened.

Had a somewhat new guy for US Pacific but don’t know what he was thinking. Attacked Marshall’s and Carolinas without his fleet and all planes. I work with him and he wouldn’t talk about game on Monday. Lol We told him end of game what he should of done.

With Rangoon in game now hoping the allies need to make a attack move now.

As you know need more games in to see how that works out.
