Couple of turns on new map changes
Didn’t have time to fine tune cameras yet -
Here’s a couple of close up picks. As usual the wolf packs doing there job while operation torch happens with the US Ranger AC.
In the pacific Japan is going to get Calcutta but left most islands undefended. Anzac jump on a few and US got some more islands. That’s 1 island group N O bonus for Anzac for 5 icps and US has 6 N O bonuses for 30 icps. Plus Japan has oil damage on Sumatra that is 5 dam towards income and lost 3 money islands with oil. They are only making 47 icps. While US is at 107. Japan can never afford to not defend there oil supply plus there’s bonus victory points for axis there.
Also his planes are out of position to hit US fleet based on he needs them to help take Calcutta. But that’s the idea in game is to force Japan to use there planes in more than 1 spot.
He’ll probably run ground for Calcutta and has to regroup naval in a bigger fleet. Will see.Anyway the map sea zone changes are starting to look like there going to work out good.

Looking good. My buddy was in charge of the fresh water system on the Ranger. Tough duty on pearl I’m thinking. :)

You mean now and not 1941 ? LOL buddy be pretty old.

Even if he was on the latest USS Ranger, he’s no spring chicken: USS Ranger CV-61 decommissioned in '93. Assuming he had the job in '93 and was 30 at the time, that would make him 57 today.
If he was on the WW2 USS Ranger, he’s old enough to be dead: USS Ranger CV-4 decommissioned in '46. We’ll say that (almost) everybody in the Navy was young, so let’s use 25 as his age. If he was 25 in '46, that would make him 99 years young.

Heh heh yea tried to make two posts in one. Was commenting on all the dudes in Hawaii on the Generals map.
My buddy is in his early 60’s. I think he said Ranger was the last WWII carrier active when he was on it. Probably late 70s early 80s -
Got a few turns in. Ger gonna attack Moscow. Will see if they hold. If not will see if they can take back.
Will post a few pics of map. Russia has to decide now if they wanna move the Moscow IC and only be worth 1. But then if Ger don’t attack next turn Russia can’t build units in Moscow but can at 3 other factories they were moving each turn. Will see if we have Russia finally able to retake Moscow or not. -
Here’s a couple of close ups of map and game
German stack off to right on a task card which is not in pick. Don’t look good for Moscow.
Poor Koba ! -
Well colors were to light so I redid my map. Colors, fonts and all borders redid.

@GEN-MANSTEIN Looking solid!

After some more game play and this is based on Italians advancement into Russia.
History wise the Italians stayed south and never went into Moscow, Granted there were Italians in Moscow but weren’t on Italy’s side.
They were helping in push to Stalingrad but got pushed out and most went back to Italy after March of 43. SO to keep Italian can openers in game they are restricted to Russian territories marked by a dash border line. They can go into Turkey, Middle East oil fields and Syria territories as normal.
Plus Italy’s tanks were weak so now in game Italy and Japan tanks C6 AD@4 M2.
