@JDOW a question, I have an ANZAC inf on a UK tranny, in z97, there is a host of UK ships, can the Anzac inf initiate combat and attack ALB or greece? If there are axis fighters in S.ITA, can they scramble? do they fight the brit navy or do they simply kill the UK tranny and the anzac inf on it? I should know this but I don’t. thanks

Hi Jim,
the friendly UK ships cannot support an amphibious assault conducted by Anzac. Those folks are on their own for that. So Anzac would need to fight a potential scramble themselves. If they can’t, they cannot conduct an amphibious assault.
Same would apply in the Pacific with the US friends where this could even apply more realistically.Note, that after unsuccessful sea battle vs a scramble a transport that planned an amphibious assault would not be killed but forced to retreat.

so the UK tranny w/the anzac inf would be forced to move out of the sea zone to any adjacent and the anzac inf lives? but the anzac inf can’t make a ncm move off the tranny right?

I dunno, gamerman or panther? There are guys out there that can decide on that… But I have a hard time to see how this should be relevant.
So either you can land, you do it, if you can’t don’t do it.
In case there will be a battle against a scamble and Anzac loses, then I’d say the unit just stays on the TT. I would not see how this could make the UK transport move. -

Without supporting sea or air units the amphibious landing is not allowed in case the enemy scrambles.
