You have to DOW on Germany to move into USSR territory in BM. From the notes:
“Note: An Axis power may not move its units into originally Russian territory unless that Axis power is at war with Russia. Also, when not at war with Japan, Russia may not move its units into any non-Russian Allied territory in Asia, other than Syria, Trans-Jordan, Iraq, Persia, NorthWest Persia, and East Persia. The National Objective for Russia’s first capture of Berlin has been removed.”
I see - I didn’t actually know that rule! Well, since I didn’t declare war and the game allowed me to move into Russia anyway, I would say that it be fair that I be allowed to either (a) declare war and move my pieces differently (b) not declare war and hold them in German territory.
I see you declared war on Germany. My feeling is, by the rules I should not have been allowed to move into Italian-held Russia, so I don’t see how it would be fair for you to benefit from a move that I should not have been able to make.
