Triple-A -- Which map is the correct one for the 1941 A&A Anniversary edition?

has been added to TripleA as a playable map. So no more edits required.

As the development process is still ongoing there is no version control at the moment.
So you will not be prompted to update the map called World War II v5 Second Edition.

To download the latest release including the new Setup simply remove your installed v5-map from within the “Download maps” dialogue, close the “Download maps” dialogue, reopen it and redownload the map.
This way you will always get the latest map-version (regardless whether you have been prompted about an update or not).

When downloaded choose the alternative setup as shown in the attached screenshot.

Plan B then - try to persuade him to play on his laptop ….

I installed the game on laptop with win10, the games starts incredible fast and the flags are moving so fast in the wind I can almost not see the animation… but after 10-15 minutes, the game slows down more and more so I cannot barely not scroll the map or see the animations of exloding units… what can be wrong?

is starts perfectly fine and then slows down so I have to restart every 15 minutes.
and I�m not sure of you guys, but for me it takes more than 15 min to beat the axis so I have to restart quite many times… Smiley

has this occured to anyone else and what can I do to solve this?

Guys, the Blitzing move AAA has correct. You cannot Blitz through a territory with an IC, AB or NB (or any unit, including an AA). Southern France cannot be blitzed through on the way to Italy, as it has two of these units in it.

okay thanks….I noticed it said I rolled a 3 and did 3 damage not 1+2. Thanks for the quick response.

For one, I could not seem to find any of the map files (such as ‘basetiles’, ‘relieftiles’, ‘games’, etc.) that are a part of the default games (which I believe there are four of, including Big World 1942) that come with the TripleA client.

When downloading maps, they are saved in the same location as the savegames (the user folder) rather than in the application directory.  For instance, on my Win system, they are in C:\Users\username\triplea\maps.

Stable means it does not crash
Unstable means it freezes and/or crashes during normal operation.

Well then why would anyone use the unstable version??

Unstable versions have new features added, bugs fixed, etc. They’re a way to test those features before a new stable is released including them.
