I knew that the Brits could reinforce any U.S. invasion, but I didn’t think S. France was a significant target. Wasn’t expecting UK to support with that many planes. Germany could have put a few extra troops in Paris as builds or instead of defending the Italian bomber. This reduces what I can send to the Eastern front.

Interesting U.S. move to Carolines. I just did that as the U.S. vs Wizmark. Carolines are often ignored. Even though Japan can attack from several locations, the odds aren’t great. Japan still has to defend the homeland and the allies can hit many targets from the Carolines. I should have landed the bomber near the China coast.

I was lucky on the dice, got to keep all my planes and the tank. We each had a tank and all the planes remaining, with attack and defense both at 30. But my odds were low because of the mix of planes. But Germany can’t reinforce the eastern front with all the allied pressure.

Germany is hard to kill if Russia is on the defensive, because the U.S. and Brits have to transport troops to invade, while Germany can build many infantry at major I.C.'s. But if Russia starts pushing Germany back, and Japan hasn’t invaded Russia, then it’s a slow death.

If Japan is strong and Germany has Russia holed up in Moscow, then I think the Axis win almost every time. At least I know what mistakes I made as Germany in this game, and they are straightforward to fix in future games. Let’s see if Japan can contain the U.S. move to the center of the Pacific. Japan is doing good, but not making 80+ a turn like Wizmark is doing to me.
