You got you one in 27 chance of getting all three hits in Smolensk filling a tac bomber, and I only got 2 hits out of 20 hit points for my hit and run strafing of Bryank. You, of course, got 2 hits also rolling with only 8 hit points. It took your AA there, but you can replace it for an inf if you want, as it was somewhat obvious to be a one round attack.
