  • I have had the good fortune to play some of the best (e.g., Adam and Axis Dominion) and learn much, even losing efforts. I have also played a number of good players and lost because of my mistakes–again good learning opportunities. There is no substitute for experience, including bad ones. Our fights were not fair. I have six years experience on you. I play a couple of rookies a season, because it is fun and someone needs to help break them in. Scoring wise, there is little incentive for players in Tier 1 and above to play new recruits and a lot to lose. But I remember how hard it was for me to get games when I first came in, and I don’t care a great deal about my standing in the League.
