From the Revised FAQ:

"Q. The Nonaggression Treaty allows the USSR to place four units in the territory Japan attacks
first. What if the Japanese player attacks two or more red territories on the same turn?

A. In that case, the Soviet player chooses which of the territories being attacked gets the four infantry."

So I played a quick game against a friend last weekend (we agreed it was experimental and would not count towards our scoreboard).

I was the axis and picked two national advantages: naval night-fighting and nazi scientists.

The allied player insisted on also having two national advantages, so he picked colonial garrison and flying fortresses (I forget the name, it’s the non-LHTR national advantage; US bombers are immune to AA).

Colonial Garrison gave me a lot of problems!  He placed the IC in India, which I went for right away, but the allies managed to trade it for a few turns, and then the US player waited till I was in a bad situation and bought two factories in china and sinkian.

The battleship advantage was not that great.  It was fun for a couple of battles, but then the US player just avoided my battleships.  I was a few turns from opening the suez canal, and my fleet was prepared against africa, but the US player was going to provide quite a hassle.

The game ended prematurely; I suspect I would eventually have lost.  The nazi scientists got me a tech upgrade only after 10 tech buys.

The TripleA is a cool game, but it’s a shame that the AI is sooo lame. It really is to easy.
However, it’s great that they included a lot of versions, and a few new ones(at least to me). The Great War scenario looks nice :-D

I have a LOT of dice, but in my primary set I have 25d4 for one of my character’s Cone of Cold :-D

I like those 13d4 Magic Missiles too :-)

The latest version of Triple A is very good. You can play someone via e-mail, or live on line. The AI is ok if your a beginner,( or just feel lke breaking a losing streak). i usually end up playing solitaire when I’m working out a new strtagy. Or you can play hot seat at yours or someones PC. I ike it because I don’t have to have a board set up somewhere all of the time. Also, I think some of those guys I play against on line don’t bathe very often, so Playing them over the internet works for me. :-D

  They call me that because I’ve sent my T-34s’ just about everywhere.  :roll: Not Brazil yet though, Hmmm… Next time Jerry invades there I’ll have to send some T-34s’ to liberate it.

Im looking forward to it because I have yet to see T-34’s in Brazil as well lol. But not having to setup a board is clutch. We manage a meetup once a week playing the boardgame but its not enough to satisfy the craving haha. Cant wait to start playing some games versus fellow forum members.

This is an easy one. Let the Allies pick out the Axis advanteges and let the Axis pick the Allied advanteges. I bet they both will find the crapy ones of equil value.

Indeed, and also very useful to attack the German fleet- otherwise you almost have no opportunity to land your planes. Brings a new perspective to my game.
