I had a high probability of sinking the Japanese CR & transport with just the 2 subs, as they get first strike advantage and 2 units to 1 and more total attack than defense. But I rolled 0-3 and you rolled 2-2. I could have added a bomber, but it would have had to land in an unsafe location.
As to OOL for Moscow, I prefer to find out hits for at least the first round. I will be around and the wife is out of town, so no interruptions. You would have to use every unit that could reach, from all around Moscow, and still only 45% chance.
I adjusted battle calc as if I hadn’t attacked Ukr, and your odds would have improved marginally, to 50% and slightly more survivors and slightly better net TUV.
