Yeah, cable modems are the best… Just upgraded from dialup after 2 years of hesitating… I knew that once I got one, that was $40 per month for the rest of my life, as I’d never go back to dialup…

I’ve been following your games with Cystic Crypt and Darth Maximus (until it ended anyway)… Very well played, on both counts… I certainly still have a lot to learn… And I’m interested by your opening in your current game with DM… I’m looking forward to seeing it played out.

I was attempting to create my own game and I took a dowl to a chopsaw and then printed off some “army” pictures from a clip-art library on my pc. I glued the pictures to the small dowl pieces. I had a few extra dowls so I through them in with my A&A board game and now I’ve got a few “destroyers” and “Marines” for my paper edition of A&A.

Thanks for the info! Yeah I also suspected maybe the download link went bust after .mac turned into a pay site. I like your thinking with your awesome offer to host the existing alpha version again though. Hmm, I wonder why the author didn’t just go oh cool… here ya go. Well hopefully someone that snagged that alpha download will peek in here yet… hopefully. If you have the ability and desire to host… we really need to get you a copy of that file somehow! The website states the Mac version sports over 75 different units… 75! Yes, this I have to see and play. Anyway, I really appreciate your follow-up. I find a major contradiction here. The package is put together soo poorly that it is not even played on the zone, or ever was (cept for the first 2 weeks it ever was spammed).
If you are serious about wanting to play on the zone, you are in for a very big surprise. The bugs that show up in online play in every phase dwarf anything you’ve seen while playing the AI offline. And this is an understatement!
