Okay, I concede the game. I had my fun taking W. Ger and Den, but was not in a position or enough power for UK to take Berlin. UKP reinforcements to Yunnan alerted you to my intention to attack Kwantung. It was an education. Although, I’m still not sure how you outmaneuvered me so quickly in Gibraltar and the Med and Japan everywhere. I’m going to have to go back to the first few rounds and see what I can learn for the allies in the future and for the Axis in a second game. The kids and grandkids are coming over through the weekend, so give me until next week to set up the second game. It was a pleasure playing against you.

I think that your initial aggressiveness against Japan hurt you, and even though you sank some carriers in SZ6 early on, you lost several aircraft, and it (your overall aggressiveness against Japan) diverted your attention and resources from threatening Europe sooner. I think in the game, as in the real war, the Allies are best off using a “Europe first” strategy.
