That failed defense in SZ6 J2 could be fatal. Not sure what happened there. Did I just forget to defend properly?

Yeah the sz6 J2 was a big hit for Japan. the defense was to weak. But the leftover fleet of US was just wiped in the next round for minus 60 TUV. But I think overall result of that US move was in favor of the allies as the game progress.
