I need to concede this one. Germany is too strong, Japan is too strong, and I have no hope for any inroads for a comeback. I posted your victory on the forum.
You played an excellent game, and my early setbacks in the Pacific and not being able bring the USA into the European theatre were too much to overcome. Our rematch with me as the Axis can begin early next week if you are ready…
-
Thanks for the game. I agreed to play allies for no bid? I think that might be a loss.
I think if the axis play properly and don’t stuff up or get terrible dice, they should win.
-
Well, I see league games where the Allies get a bid, but I see others where the Axis get a bid. So there are varying opinions. I am beginning to think that the Axis have an advantage with no bid, and it sounds like that is your opinion also
-
I don’t understand how or why games are proceeding with Axis bids, except at the very bottom tiers. The Axis really have the edge once you get used to BM. For a while, axis players weren’t so sure about how to counter the extra money the allies get in BM. No longer.
-
OK, the league playoff semi-final match with Adam vs JuanSpain is set up with a Axis+9 bid. These are obviously high tier players. What is your thought on THAT?

Wow! Didn’t notice THAT! Looks like going to the Allies though. Adam514 is a really hard player to play. Just playing Adam, you’re wondering how on earth you’re going to win. I suspect maybe JuanSpain just got a bit carried away with trying something different here.
