    I’ve run the numbers and if I take Novgorod, you can actually take it back. Hmm, is this game over? I had something I didn’t expect when I got the J3 Calcutta crush. Paid a bit more for it than usual, but still a good win there. I think perhaps I should have moved into Yunnan even if it meant missing out on taking Java or Sumatra. I paused in Hunan for a turn to consolidate which will mean I may not be able to hold it until J6. Not that great after losing Korea to USA.

    Perhaps I had the Western defense right when I put a bunch of Mechs in W Germany and artillery in France. I just haven’t had enough in some games I guess. One time someone retook France to crush the artillery.

    @simon33 You had enough troops to keep Manchuria/Korea especially since you weren’t pushing China. The price for J3 Calcutta is high, you’re letting the DEI go, China stays strong and US keeps getting +5 for Guam and is free to take Iwo and threaten Korea/Manchuria.
