@FMErwinRommel Its looking a bit grim…but japanese strategic movement curtailed with the loss of 3 transports…US engaged now…and with germany distracted in the med, pressure is less on the russians. Just need to find a way to eject those italians!

I put more into Atlantic defense via subs than normal, but they are cheap and need them to take hits instead of expensive bombers. But keeping bombers against U.S. prevents critical task of bombing Moscow. I won’t get to Moscow before the large Siberian army does. I could make a bold move against U.S./U.K., but U.S. can rebuild and Russia might become too strong. Tough choices.

I waited longer than normal to build a second I.C. in China. That, combined with needing to garrison 11 more terr than in G40, is a strain on Japan. When I can afford it, I build tanks more than mech, in order to free up planes for the Pacific.

I can’t believe the lopsided loss in the critical battle and no losses in the other battles. I went 1-6 and you rolled 4-4. Average dice would have given each of us 2 hits, leaving me with 4 units power of 8 vs your 2 units power of 8. Odds were in my favor, not yours.
