First round was terrible, I rolled 6 hits instead of 9-1/2 and you rolled average. But on second round, I made up for it and hit everything except damaged BB; while you rolled 1 below average. Somehow, I overlooked taking 1 sub as a hit, but it worked out okay, since it sank your damaged BB without chance for counter-fire. TUV of 89 was slightly better than bat calc predicted. U.S. and ANZ can. I built a CV next to the battle SZ, so I could fly in 2 planes from Japan and land there. Japan lost income, but doesn’t need expensive build next turn; and is in position to slowly push back the Allies.

@FMErwinRommel Am very sorry, but made a mess of the battle in the phillipines…basically forgot that you didn’t own the islands and that yr planes couldn’t land there, so damaged both yr carriers which lost yr planes after the battle.
