Thx! Enjoyed the game, well played. Dice were unkind to you, especially the AA hits.

@simon33 I don’t remember, but likely I did. I do it often ;)

Interesting. It’s a move taking several turns which relies on Japan taking West India and also then leaving it empty. If it doesn’t pan out do you just take Madagascar? Or run after the DEI or Malaya?
Anyway, I feel pretty sure that you have me here. Even France isn’t in danger of falling anytime soon. And the 6 USAAF fighters on Norway will prevent me from taking Moscow G8 and that will probably continue with the superior allied economy.
I think I’ve learnt a couple of things this game. I didn’t quite have enough of a Japanese air force in position to hit Burma, which you made me pay for. I shouldn’t have continued the battle in SZ111 after the first round. I think I wanted to make sure you couldn’t do Taranto. But so what if you could? Losing those 3 IJN TTs UK2 hurt but didn’t totally kill me. It was much more devastating to lose those 3 Luftwaffe in SZ111, I think.

@simon33 I use mind control techniques to ensure I get w.india every time.
haha
just kidding
but yah it doesn’t matter to me if I don’t get w.india, that’s really more a bonus. I like to have some US troops available in the vicinity just in case an opportunity does open up to take Iraq, persia, or w.india, for example. most of the time, if my opponent isn’t careful, I am able to get away with it. if not, there’s no loss, it’s just one US tp hanging out and chillin ;)
yah at this point, your income is too low and your western defenses are too weak. it’s extremely rare for me to have left the Italians alone this long, tho, but that’s because I was exploiting a weakened germany which barely has any lufwaffe.
I agree, you totally should’ve retreated out of 111 to cut losses. don’t worry, I’m not a fan of Taranto lol
