1940 vs anniversary balance

I’m axis allies’s foreign fan. And I bought axis allies anniversary 50. But, when I unbox, the inside boxes are a little breakage. So I want to repair them!

Is there axis allies anniversary 50 box(inside) art pdf file?

My only wish for the game would’ve been that he could’ve incorporated the national advantages from the original revised and put them in anniversary. Other than that it’s the best one ever.

There are Tech rules for the Chicago Rules as well as the ‘base’ Chicago Rules.
Both are also in the House rules section

Okay aa50 can take 2-10+ hours. Global can take 6 hours to a few days.

The longest aa50 game I had lasted 32 hours because Germany was on the brink of losing, had a miracle defense against UK USA attack… Hit improved artillery with 1 tech roll that has been going for a long time suddenly has enough to kill south europe, survives another UK all in blast. Meanwhile Japans 30 tanks 5 bombers dies to Russia 25 inf 2 USA fighter (5 aa gun hits)  the Game that refused to end.

So global just takes long where as aa50 if it takes long it is because the game ending battles failed.

I agree with you that LRA is pretty powerful, and possibly over powerful if your playing competitor got it for cheap. I don’t agree with replacing it with paratroopers. Simply for the reason that paratroopers are aweful. Maybe make LRA +1 to air movement.

the +1 on movement was also our solution to the way overpowered (compared to other techs) LRA weapon

Just bring your laptops over and play AA50 over tripleA.

It’s kind of sad global is not a finished map yet. As long as they can get game balance within a 20 IPC range, it’s a complete map and players can bid for the side at a disadvantage. I feel the game should make axis be at a disadvantage so making bid rules would be much easier.

aa50 is good to go, out of box with or without national objectives. If you play with national objectives, what I like to do is roll 1d6 add 5 and that’s the allies bid. :)

I also posted the PDF which has the 1941 setup on the map which would facilitate setups.
