Can't post a game file: Failed to login to forum

Yikes! Ok, thanks, again. Making sure everyone updates to the latest version, before starting a new game, is, inevitably, mid-game, for their other games, which would then mess up those games. Installing and running different Triple A versions in different directories sounds like a nightmare to this tech challenged fella. It doesn’t sound like I have a choice, though. Dammit!

But interestingly I cannot reproduce those issues when using the current release 2.0.20868, either.
I recreated your scenarios and everything went fine.

So I have no idea what messed up your game…

My BM installation (4.0) is the standard that comes with the Global-map-installation.

Just found this thread, as I was looking for War Room on TripleA as well. Just discovered War Room (after playing 100s of AaA games), and also thought it is a nice alternative, very suitable to be played on TripleA, if there is a large enough following. Also willing to chip in.

I dunno. I downloaded the save before you posted the error and worked fine for me. My guess would have to be either the download of the save game from the forum was funky and the file was incomplete.

@Ichabod So I can identify two different issues. First of all, your PBF username is not your email-address that you have entered but simply “Ichabod”. Enter Ichabod as Login and the forum password into the settings.

Second your TripleA still uses an outdated Java to be found in
c\program files\i4j_jres\1.8.0_66

That is an incompatible Java version that TripleA came with years ago that is still used despite you might have installed the latest Java, too.
So you need to manually delete this i4j_jres folder including its subfolders.

So once you have deleted this, you should try again, using the forum username and forum password.
In case it still does not work, please reinstall the latest Java 8 to be sure TripleA uses this new version.

After all these actions you should be fine using the dice server and posting your turns with TripleA 1.9.0.0.13066 on the new forum.

@suprise-attack When you click reply, a window will open up. Beneath where it says “Replying to …” there are a series of icons. The one farthest to the right is to upload an attachment. You can add your game file as an attachment to your post. I think it works anyway. I haven’t got a reply from my opponent yet lol.

Figured it out.

I was just wondering if there will be new ABattlemap maps created for the upcoming A&A 1940 Pac/Europe games? I don’t have a ton of money to spend on new games - as much as I would love to own the physical board - so the computer software ABattlemap is my saviour at the moment.

So, anybody know or will this just inevitably be created? Thanks.
