@nikola1975 Ah yes, that happens to the best of us. Always shake my head at myself after one of those. Sounds good, let me know if you concede - we can go 2/3 on the series :)
BSD (Allies) vs SImon33 (Axis) BM3
-
Something is going wrong with the dice server. I can’t roll my Chinese combat.
-
could you confirm your dice server email for me? Something is not working properly with the dice server.
-
@BSD:
could you confirm your dice server email for me? Something is not working properly with the dice server.
Looks right to me. What are you getting?
-
An error message that says the dice server is not working and that the most likely explanation is that the dice server email does not exist.
-
A couple of people with old Java versions have reported issues: https://www.axisandallies.org/forums/index.php?topic=43667.0
I can’t help much more without more info.
-
It seems odd that it is this game that’s doing it and not any of my other games.
-
It’s happened that way before. I agree that it’s strange though.
-
Ok, I’m tired tonight so I will trouble shoot the problem more in the morning.
-
I tried to update my Java and it told me that Java application is not supported by Google Chrome. I tried it with Microsoft Edge and it told me that it wasn’t supported by Microsoft Edge anymore. So I’m not sure what to try next.
-
There should be an offline installer somewhere. Here actually: https://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
-
I’m not sure what to do here. I installed Java from the link you gave and I restarted my computer after and it still is giving me the error message.
-
Bummer. Perhaps if you can post the info in the Software forum, including the “Properties” panel from the Debug|Show Console window.
Then we might be able to help more. These issues are really frustrating. In 1.8 Java was packaged in with the installer, making it very large but at least it had a lot less issues.
-
Shall we just cancel this game since I am unable to roll combats and I’m not tech savey enough to trouble shoot the problem?
-
I’d rather fix the troubles. You haven’t given me or anyone any real information. But if you aren’t up for that we can cancel the game.
-
What more information would you like? I get to China’s combat roll and it says that it cannot find the dice server and gives me a list of possible reasons. I’ve updated Java and it doesn’t seem to help. Not sure what to do next.

That is what it says.
-
Ok, thanks. Can you also post the info from the Triple-A Console?
So under the Debug pull down menu there’s a Show Console button. When you reveal that, select the panel “Properties”. Then post that.
You might be having a different problem from that info.
