@Pvt_Griff Thank you! Let me see when your done! Now just cointemplating buying a global game and getting BBR or something going. Daunting task for sure.

An example here is how we fill this one up.
I was formerly playing as Germany, so below is my movements.
For sea zone, we use the same number (Eg from sea zone 93>99)
If transport, we will write 93 > S france(pick up 2 troops) >96 (disembark on Tobruk)
For land, we will just write the name of land (from a to b)
Next we will be marking the troops to move.
If it’s all units in the land to move, we just write “all”
Adding the concept of bidding, you’d get lots of fun when you either evade an attack, or managed to “pin” your enemies.

Concerning design and layout with customized game boards, we made a hand-made drawing - gave it to a professional company - made a great deal - and mass produced the game boards to reduce costs.

PM’s don’t auto-save… if you just PM someone and hit send, there’s no trace of it on your end… it went out, but it ONLY saves in your outbox if you check the “plz save this to my outbox” option in your send message screen.

Has anyone played with the house rule that ignores the trench warfare? We like it playing more like the original? Also what other rules do you use to make the game more fun.

I’m going to probably print a large transparency map based on the board I’ve been designing based on satellite imagery that is in some serious high definition.

If you’ll be using satellite imagery as the basis for your map, will you be keeping the real-world proportions of the land masses and oceans?  The Global 1940 game map, for practical game play purposes, distorts both the size and the shape of various geographic areas.

No, I’ve taken the satellite images and enlarged certain areas so that there is room in places like Europe for the large scale of battle that often takes place there. When I’m done with the map file, I’ll post it here if you’re interested

I have a copy of that game, complete with everything. First board game I played after the original shogun.
