    Only 2 battles.  Was glad to destroy the flying tiger ftr.  It was worth losing a plane.  I attacked Burma with 1 art and 5 planes.  Enough power to take out the 3 defenders in one round.  But I under-rolled and retreated rather than lose a plane.  Built 12 land units and will continue to need plenty every turn.

    10 DDs!  You are a wild and crazy guy.  Even Italy’s 38 PU wouldn’t buy enough fleet to match that.  Even with 84 PU, the U.S. can’t build enough for both oceans.  But 84 is a lot.  So far only ANZ and soon Brits and not U.S. will be reinforcing Rus. 
    I expected the U.S. to bomb N. Italy, since the bombers had nothing else to do and I couldn’t afford new ftrs there or an airbase for scrambling.  An AA hit would have really made a diff, cutting the I.C. damage this turn and only 1 bomber for future raids and invasion attacks.

    Stupid me to let all those ANZ tt’s take the islands unescorted.  I knew that the U.S. could sink any blockers and that ANZ could go north and south of Aust to reach Java.  I put a sub by Malay and ftrs in it.  I had combined my fleets, so I had excess ships for defense.  So I could have put DDs by Borneo and Sum, as I had more DDs come from the home fleet to replace them.  I can sink 5 tt’s and the ANZ CR blocker on my turn, but ANZ will get plenty of cash and I will lose plenty of cash.

    Overall successful turn for Japan.  Destroyed the dual threat of Chinese army in Chahar and Rus army in Amur; but one Rus held out in Korea.  I brought up 2 CRs for bombardment but they missed and it became 2-on-2 and I lost; since I couldn’t spare a plane for that attack.  I wanted to have the max offense against the Rus army in Amur, so used the other tt there and all available planes.  The hold out in Korea is a nuisance, but I couldn’t risk losing the big battle in Amur.  Now its a race to S.E. Asia.  I sank the 5 allied tt’s and blocking CR & DD.  But I still regret letting you take all the money isles.  The Rus sacrifice prevented me from sending loaded tt’s from Japan to the Phil.
