Good thing that Italy attacked S. Fra with all available land troops and most other targets were unguarded tt’s. I scored only 1 hit with 9 units, while the U.S. scored 2 for 2. Second round, again only 1 hit for 7 units and again the U.S. 1 for 1. Italians average die roll was 4.45, U.S. was 1.33. Italy attacked tt’s to free up Ger planes for other targets.

I would have stuck with your first move to reinforce Java instead of gambling 50/50 on taking Borneo. Reinforcing Burma with allied bombers won’t save it, as I brought in TBs from the CVs on my last turn. Strange game, I don’t have the money isles, so my cash flow is low. But now that I’ve eliminated the Rus and Chi threats and will take out the Indian threat, I can increase cash from the mainland and slowly take DEI.

It’s been 8 weeks since we played, so I forgot what I was going to bomb and what my builds and plans were. So I chose to bomb naval base, but after looking at my builds and enlarging the IC damage icon to see it was a 12 not a 17, I have decided to change my bombing damage to go against Brit IC instead.

Took a long time to redo the bat calc’s and NCM decisions that I had made before in November. Ger is doing great, but Japan is struggling to retake the money isles. The U.S. produces too much income for Japan to compete and with Brit and ANZ added in, Ger will have to force U.S. to continue to concentrate on Europe. The Allied income advantage is still too high for me to say I will win. I thought the Axis were in better shape. We’ll see if Japan can defeat the Brits in Burma. I see Rus has no units left, so I will take Japan’s turn tomorrow.
