Whoa, change in direction of the Siberian army! 23 units appear to be poised to crash down on Japanese China. It’s 1/3 of your military units. I don’t think that the Great Wall will hold them back. It will really stall the Jpn advance in China, just as China has amassed one giant army of its own. But my invasion fleet must take SE Asia and the money isles over the next few turns to generate cash and cut back on India’s cash flow. I saw the mobile units moving east while the Siberian army went west. Guess you were waiting for the extra firepower and for my troops and air to move away from the border. And ANZ ftrs already in India with a big Indian inf army. Jpn will be hard pressed to defend its homeland from the Hawaii fleet while diverting some builds to land units.

With G40, Jpn tanks can blitz into kill zones surrounding a China inf stack and then back to safety. But I can’t do that with BM. That’s a real drawback for me in this game.

i believe you can move your tanks back during your combat move but if you wait until you noncom move to try to move back it wont let you.

I had to do a lot of planning to make my invasions; and position my troops in China and my returning planes to face 3 large Rus, Chi and Indian armies at opposite ends of China and the U.S. fleet at sea. Jpn starts out with lots of high value units but limited land troops and tt’s to take the isles. You did an excellent job of bringing ftrs into Rus and ANZ ftrs into India. And even a tank into Cau.

Italian position looked good after T2. U.S. fleet wasn’t strong, but Ger couldn’t afford enough subs and bombers G3 to sink it in sz91 next turn. Brit didn’t have that much cash, but had enough to build I.C. in Persia and units in S.Afr. With potential U.S. invasion and Axis planes not in position to defend Italy, I went defensive. No sense building I.C. in Egypt if it will get taken over by Brit in a few turns. So many more N.O.s for Med in BM affect my moves.
Planned on blitzing into Iraq with armor. But then realized that after I took TransJ in combat, I couldn’t move into Pro-Axis Iraq until NCM and I couldn’t do that because I already moved the armor in combat.
At least the Brit attention on Italy in Africa may delay its movement into defending Rus.
I knew about the BM garrison China rule. But was so preoccupied with the Rus and other potential threats that I overlooked garrisoning Cha, and that the planes in Hun don’t count as land garrison. I was lucky that the free China inf didn’t get a hit.
