I just realized that I can’t stop you from getting Berlin no matter what. US can attack followed by the UK. Moscow would fall despite all German planes going to Berlin. And a purchase of 3 fighters, 2 tanks, 5 infantry for Berlin isn’t enough.

Axis surrender. No way Japan can win the game now. Even if Global 40 rules, Japan couldn’t get to Hawaii in time. BM3 rules require an extra victory city.

I spent the whole game trying to overcome early mistakes that had to do with not being familiar with Balanced Mod. It was my first game with BM3, but I’ve grown to like it. Many of the players won’t do 2nd Edition without a huge bid for the Allies, so in the future I will likely play BM3 most of the time.
