My tactics with the Siberian Army:
I can’t stack Amur in R1, because Japan will just wipe it. So I stack it in Buryatia. I will move it to Amur in R2, most of the time - depending on the Japanese movement.
The idea is, that in J2 Japan has to stretch the army to defend Manchuria/Korea. This means that China and UK do not need to fight the massive amount of Infantry, but a much smaller portion of it. This is especially true in the turn Japan declares war, because they need a lot of Infantry to take over all of the Islands, Malaya, Kwantung and so on.
I’m more interested on binding Japanese troops to defend Manchuria and keeping them from other, more important areas, than actually taking Manchuria/Korea.
But if Japan just doesn’t defend and goes south with everything - well you can see how painful it is to lose those 6 IPC each turn. -

I agree.
The only upside is, that your Japanese fleet is in a really good position. You lack transports to do anything meaningful, though.
My Beachhead in France isn’t very strong. But since I have another beachhead in Greece and you’d also need to take Norway, your troops are super stretched. I don’t think there is a way for you to win.

I’ve posted the result.
For me it was more that the allies were extending the income gap and Italy was about to have all its income convoyed off. And Russia was pretty strong.
Made some significant mistakes this game like taking Normandy with the Italian tank I1 rather than moving it to Romania.
