If this had been a more normal game, Brit would not have been able to put all its builds against India, nor the U.S. in the Pacific. I might have had a chance, but time is running out. One turn I didn’t build troops in W. India or build replacement tt’s in the Pacific, in order to build enough ships to survive the trip to Australia. But this delayed my retaking Celeb, and now India is at risk, and I can’t safely bring loaded tt’s to the fleet in time. This turn, I want to at least have the decisive naval battle that Japan craved, but it comes too late to win the game in the Pacific, unless I have spectacular dice in the naval battle and in India. I searched the forum for Japan strategies, but the only one was a windy discussion of DOW J1 vs J2. There was no mid-game strategy or tactics or play by play for a Pacific win. I took out China so fast, that I never built a second I.C. there. Malaya would have been nice as a second I.C. to threaten Aust., but the Allies could invade it in one turn from their big fleet parked in sz54. Hong Kong might have worked, but it’s too late for that now.

Historically it would be interesting to see what Stalin would’ve done. After all he did lie to Churchill and Roosevelt about not pushing into Berlin. There wasn’t much love lost between Churchill and Stalin and Churchill wanted the war to continue, this time after USSR.
