@Witt Fine with me
War has been declared

Russia sends negotiatiors in PEACE! and Japan talks of WAR?!?!
It’s too late! The planes have already flown in. We TRUST our HONORABLE Japanese FRIENDS will reconsider.
-
Dare I suggest that the Russians take advantage of the military situation, to conquer their age old foe the Turks, and give the Axis a sporting chance of survival.

Sshhh :)

The Russian marti emails were fun to read. The one-on-one duel in Belarus, each firing their pistols but missing as they slowly walked towards each other. Until finally, they were so close that they shot each other dead. Then there was W. Ukr, where everybody missed the first 2 rounds. And finally, with everything collapsing around them, the Romanian/Italian defeated two Russian tanks (contrary to historical accuracy).
-
Sounds like the rhetoric is increasing between the Japanese and Russians…

Japan agreed to a 1 turn truce in Persia and removed its troop from Sikang. But I forgot to do the move before I posted, so I edited and saved. S.A., you can either use my saved game from this post, or make the edit again in the J16 posted turn.

Karma got even with me. Last turn, my 2 ground troops in W. Aust gave 2 hits to ANZ, causing him to lose a ftr; and now the 2 ground troops in Rhodesia gave 2 hits and I only had 1 ground unit, so I also had to take a ftr. I didn’t have the numbers to take out Persia. When I redid the bat calc before my move, I realized that I had swapped sides and my 2 AA guns were included in my prior attackers calc (assume only as taking hits). Just a few units more or less on either side in Persia made a big difference.

Yeah, I pm’d Gargantua this morning saying that I think you had miscalculated something, because you only had a slight chance to take it.
-
I must have also excluded the American troops in my original calc.
S.A.: the NCM edit is Jpn inf Sikang> Shensi (I didn’t specify the destination in my prior post). -
I love t when peaceful negotiation succeeds! Looks my job in Persia may be done!
-
Looks like may be peace in Africa also, as there are no ground troops, except the token, peaceful Soviet mech.

Lol!
Italy had 15 turns to declare war and didn’t! And then had the dice to blown away the Russian offensive into Romania!
16 turns deep into an epic game!
-
Don’t worry Dawg, we’re sharpening our Banzai swords waiting for more favorable odds and shifting our focus constantly, to keep the blue eyed devils, well excluding our German allies of course, off guard. Who knows, we may send mini subs up the Hudson River or the St Lawrence Seaway and pay you a visit. 😀.
-
The Japanese submarine control of the Southern Hemisphere does keep my allies up at night…
-
As it should. We’ll be silently sneaking up the Thames someday. Watch out, was that a periscope I just saw sticking up from the water. Just to clarify, we are sharpening our Banzai swords but trimming and shaping Bonsai shrubs and trees.
