Auto correct spell can be a blessing and a curse.  It didn’t like the abbrev I used for Gargantua, but it didn’t change what I typed until just as I posted, so I didn’t notice at the time.

We’re just spotting you guys a lead…  Been a shitty game on my part, lol.

Having trouble with my game turn.  I have 3 tt’s in sz19, 3 inf in Kiang and 1 inf in Manc.  I want to put all 4 inf in 2 tt’s during NCM.  Keep getting triangle error message.  I tried 2 inf into 1 tt and it said no, but would let me put 2 inf into 3 tt’s.  I will have to edit.

I moved 1 tt away and then loaded the 4 inf into the 2 remaining tt’s and it accepted the convoy move.  Weird.

Sorry it took so long to do NCM.  I didn’t need to use so many planes to take out the blocker dd, but I didn’t think I would need them away from home.  But when I calculated the odds, I found that I had to shuffle units around to protect every fleet.  Japan has caught up to U.S. in PUs.  Hadn’t intended to take Java, but I needed to guard the sea route to Malaya anyway until I could get it sufficiently garrisoned.  Dice in Java were bad and I lost 2 inf.  Indian navy went down swinging, taking 2 of my units with it.

I must keep telling myself “Never underestimate your opponent” Sun Tzu, “The Art of War” or Lao Tzu (Laozi), philosopher and father of Taoism.  Yamamoto knew how powerful the U.S. could become and was rightfully afraid that if they didn’t win the war within 6 months, they would lose.

The Japanese were always too concerned about killing themselves instead of the enemy.  That was their downfall!

Never underestimate Surprise Attack.  After he gets a cup of coffee and a cigarette, he is super charged and may surprise us all!! lol

Nothing like a good cup of “Java”.  :-D  Too bad it’s Japanese now.  We prefer tea, so don’t know what to do with the java beans.  Come and get it if you can.
