    This Combat first phase is not very fair.  It also limits your ability to buy a CV to land planes.  When you buy a CV to extend the landing of planes you do this before combat.  Now with this new phase order you cannot do that anymore.  With this method you either can’t reach without the CV or if your plane than needed to land on the CV dies then you don’t bother buying the CV but the plane got to make its attack. This is just one exploit I can see and it really does change the game.  If you want to convert the game over to the standard phase sequence I will continue but otherwise I’m not playing this format.

    u can do it in edit mode without problem.

    i do not know how it is possible to simply convert it, once the game has been played several turns.

    U still have to make Ur buy before an opponent decides upon scrambling and stuff. combat is still conducted after purchase units phase, this is just combat planning that is done prior to purchase units phase.

    and the CV thing can be solved easily with an edit.
