I’ve completed my 22 part video series on how to play Global War. You may find the odd mistake in there since I am a fairly new player to the game. I wanted to do the series at this point anyway because of the lack of tutorials online for those looking to get into the game. This video series therefore is presented from the perspective of someone learning the game and meant as a gateway to others who, like me, wanted to learn but felt overwhelmed by the vast scope of the game. The game only comes with a map and a few player aides so you have to be creative when it comes to finding all of the pieces to populate your game. Anytime you want to play just let me know, Jinx. I don’t know anyone else locally who knows the game but I’ll let you know if someone is coming to town to play. If you have anyone else there in GP to play then I’m happy to host.

Great! Almost any weekend you will have at least two players here in GP, and with a little planning I can bring about three dedicated players and possibly one or two amateur players to the table. I’d be excited to have a go, its been a while.

For venue i have a huge basement if we game over a few days, or we could play at the local board-game cafe from 3pm-12am if we can finish in a day (if we play the basic version of GW36 without expansions). I could also put you up at my place. Not as comfortable as a hotel, but nice enough.
Either way it sounds fun!

This series is bang on! Wish something like this was around when I started to play this game.

I really appreciate your You Tube videos. Global War 36 can seem intimidating to those of us who don’t have the time to thoroughly research it. I barely have time for a couple of G40 games a year. It’s very helpful to learn from your mistakes and it’s refreshing to see you so upfront about those. Please keep up the fantastic work.
