Its pretty easy. A simple formula.
So to attack with 4 inf and 1 Fighter the formula would look like this. (you would not use " in the formula it is just there so you can see the formula)

Now I will type the same formula without the " and you will see the dice results

You can adjust the formula to whatever you have attacking or defending.
Lets say its 6 inf, 3 art 2 tanks and 4 bombers. It would look like this
