    Thank you for the kind words, but I definitely make my share of mistakes and edits.  Each game is always a learning experience and hopefully we all get a little better.  It will be interesting to see what you do with Russia this turn.  Your European conquests have really stalled Germany’s Moscow advance.

    I’m still spinning a little from the beating you gave me in the Caroline Islands and I wanted to ask you for a little clarification. My understanding was that every plane that goes into battle had to have an ability to land. No Kamikaze airplanes. I looked at the battle again today, trying to think how you caught me off guard so badly. I saw that you had some planes in range, but wow, that was a heavy onslaught.     I’m still spinning a little from the beating you gave me in the Caroline Islands and I wanted to ask you for a little clarification. My understanding was that every plane that goes into battle had to have an ability to land. No Kamikaze airplanes. I looked at the battle again today, trying to think how you caught me off guard so badly. I saw that you had some planes in range, but wow, that was a heavy onslaught. Really nice move, but anyway… have a good night.

    Sorry I never saw this post.  I can assure you all my planes had a place to land during the carolines battle.  You have to remember that all you have to do is demonstrate a viable landing spot for each plane.  You can also use future Non Combat moves to show where the planes would land.  I had 3 carriers that could pick up planes one sz away if needed.  For the allies you have to be careful in the pacific with all the islands the japanese can land on.  You are killing me in Europe!!  The lasting effects of that dicing I got in the med where I lost my air force and your navy survived.  Quite the snowball effect.  Just one issue with your last turn.  I should’ve had 3 planes scrambled to sz 6 when you attacked my navy.  It worked out fine (except for both of your subs hitting!)  Also I had the opportunity to scramble with my italian plane in sz 97.  Since you only brought a carrier and a cruiser you probably should’ve asked if I wanted to scramble.  It was quite a winnable battle for me.  At the very least I could’ve damaged your carrier preventing you form landing a plane there.  Just be mindful of situations like that especially this late in the game.
