I’d have to read the specific abilities to be sure, but I believe usualy Can’t Trumps Can.  That is to say an abbility that denies a certain action trumps that which allows it.

I can’t speak to this situation specifically but I agree with the above. Typically a “can’t do” trumps all.

The way I understand it and play it is to pay for each model you have once.

So a carrier with two flights of aircraft is carrier cost + plane cost + plane cost = total. Its no different than having three destroyers are paying a cost for each one.

What confuses me is this reference on page 11 of the advanced rules under Fleet Construction Etiquette:  “Carriers and their Aircraft squadrons can attack enemy units anywhere on the battle map, but you’ll have to pay for them twice:  once for the Carrier, and once for each squadron you assign to it.”  :?

It is a case of poor wording.  I suspect what they were trying to say is that to use planes, you have to pay for both the planes and the carrier, you do not get the planes with the carrier.  If you still need help, post the question over on the Avalon Hill boards under naval miniatures.

The rest of Sols minis came today, and we started playing.  It was kinda diffilcult to understand at first, but after awhile it was easy.  We played 2 matches in which I lost both.  :lol: I had a good setup, it was just the way I commanded my units that made me lose.  Oh well, I learned from my mistakes.  Anyways, he got some pretty good rare pieces, which I think he will post later.  :wink:

Well, trade with Members that you see are reliable. Date joined, amount of posts so on and so forth. I would be willing to trade with handpicked members if the moderator allows trading in his forums.

Oh man got one of the best boosters, got the bofors, the zero, the MGC (freakin tight anti-tank-tank), SS Stormtrooper, german stug III, ummm and some other sweet shit like the jap armored truck, the only shitty thing i got was the american observing jeep, lol, it blows. PEACE

Mostly eBay and one online store. As more online stores offer A&A Mini singles I’ll add them to the formula.

A couple of things to consider:

1. Price does not include shipping.
2. Commons and Uncommons are usually sold in groups of 2 or more. So the individual price is based on the average price of a single miniature.
3. The average prices are based on closed auctions within the past 7 days.
