@barnee said in Hey Eric, we going to get our game or what?:
he already spent all our money in china. Were fckd
Ya him and Hunter went out to a business dinner.
Guys, we crossed 50% funding yesterday! (we’re actually at 54% now).
We have two and a half weeks to go, so jump in and order your game and any add-ons (like a double set of game pieces) so we can keep the momentum going to make sure this campaign happens!
The closer we get to our funding goal, psychologically, the more people then pledge for the game so that they don’t miss out on getting their game. Ergo, if you intend to order, the sooner the better.
Eric :-)
Time is running out, have you tried marketing on Facebook or Twitter ?
Not to worry, we still have the second half of March to go and we’re almost 70% funded.
But yes, we just started a big ad campaign (including on facebook, yes) at the end of the week, and so more backers will start to come in. :-)
Besides, most backers tend to rush in during the last week.
Eric :-)
Too bad Armchair Generals closed down 2 years ago, this game would be right up their ally. A notice in AG magazine and this game would have reached the goal in one week. This is just too bad man
Most digital media has transitioned to an on-line format these days. Everything you could ever want to know is here on the internet, so there’s little use for someone who is providing that through another medium.
Ah, but, board wargames have found a resurgence in the last ten years because you still get that physical connection with board games, as well as cool game pieces.
Not only that, you can modify a game on the computer. With board games, you can do anything you like.
And, too, some people just prefer to play a game around a table of other actual people. :-D
Just a quick heads up on your pledge levels; Those “add on X” levels … you can’t pledge more than one pledge level, so if someone selects the “add on second set of all game pieces” at $90, that’s all they are in on (UNLESS they manually add extra to that level).
Yes, that’s true. A limit of the kickstarter website. However, simply pledge for everything they want, and I will be e-mailing everybody when the campaign game ends to make sure they get what they want.
