    I so dislike when very favorable dice are wasted on a meaningless result.  Ger rolled 1/10 attacking Ukr and Brit rolled 2/2.  But the end result was Ger retook Ukr and lost 2 and killed 2.  I would have preferred Ger roll 9/10 and waste good hits on my 2 defenders.  I knew Axis would expand eastward while waiting to build up forces to take Cau.  The fireworks have just begun.

    Good turn for U.S. air.  No losses either side on air battle over Italy.  Italian air base max damage.  I used 2 bombers in case one was shot down.  Italian harbor disabled, 4 damage.  The Axis mobile army wandering through the wilderness was annihilated with just 2  U.S. ftrs lost (bat calc said 2 1/2).  Even tho the Italians couldn’t attack Cau, I knew they were up to no good.  So I was willing to risk a few planes.  The two 800 pound American guerrillas made their first stomp.  But it won’t be their last.
