 Edited to change my hit removal on last round of battle so as to keep 2 art instead of 2 mech. First round of Bry went average, no AA hits. R2, Rus didn’t roll well, but I gave it one more round. R3 was a disaster, Rus hit hardly anything, Ger rolled average. Retreated to Mos. Ger can now go thru gap in defense and take Volg (Stalin).

 Ballssy attack in Bryansk Ed. Glad it was not blessed with too much luck though! :-D Of course I did your odds before moving there but with your odds just below 50% and 11 follow up G ground units (from memory) plus air thought even a R victory was likely to prove Phyrric. G does not have the time to mess around! :wink: Now 5 less R units to outnumber!

 Even if I had rolled better than you, would have retreated. An average dice roll would have taken out all your inf and all but one mech, which was my goal.

 Russia mistake was building aa last turn. An inf or two more could have filled the gap between Mos and Vol. As it is, I needed every unit in my attacks.

 It must be galling to have launched 2 50/50 attacks and not been lucky in either. Sometimes a risky attack deserves to be lucky. Nevertheless G is happy to trade units 1 to 1 with R and especially happy for its inf and mech to be fighting with a power if 2 rather than 1. Fingers crossed that if G risks a 50/50 battle I am luckier! :wink:

 I’m impressed Witt by how much you did with just 1 tt and few mobile units to save Malay and strike back. Must be nice to have so many planes, CV and air bases to make up for limitations.

 I like fighting when my back against the wall. I fancy myself a bit of a FM Model, Hitler’s Fireman. I like juggling units and defending multiple directions… Have played many games , where the situation is hopeless , just because I like defending like that.
