 I protest, after you continued fighting, I expected to give more OOL orders based on second round dice. Since I think I inflicted only 4 hits on you round 1, I expected you to continue the attack, so I would have gone max defense, all hits on cv.

 I should have sunk 1 cv round 1 and saved a cr and ftr. Would have given me 5 points more defense. My dice didn’t help. I accept the results, your pick of casualties in round 2 matched my OOL pref from round 1. I would have traded dice in Siberia with the dice in the sea battle. I won the inconsequential and lost the expensive one.

 I think that is it. I decided to lose the Bomber as the R2 casualty. YOUr three fTs ditch into thr sea. I moved Air back to SZ6 from China. I will scramc;e all three Fts , if you go all in. Max defence, please.

 Thanks for being so gracious about trying to resolve the sea battle. That’s the connundrum about taking cv as hits. If the defender takes hits to the cv, it makes the defense stronger, so the attacker retreats. But if I take the fighters as hits, the attacker continues. Not having an isle or empty cv in adjacent sz was costly.
