I yield…losing that fleet off Malaya was too much. Should have counted out the potential attack vs. winging it. I would have blocked. Things were already going bad…Japan totally messing up Asia and that blunder with Russia for Italian/Germans really means I’m fighting uphill where Allies hold all the cards now.

The moscow thing if I moved forward you should have more than enough between Belarus and Moscow to pincer the troops. I don’t have any Italians to can open on the front anymore, so no planes for defense if I moved…

Yeah, there are supposed to be strategies that gives the Axis an edge (since they have the initiative to start and pieces). However, if they stall the Allies have the money to outspend them in the long run usually. If the Axis don’t get their money up fast enough though due to whatever, they’re sunk.
I’ve always felt the game was a lot more balanced than the league folks give it credit.
The “balanced mod” is pretty much a gimme for the Allies in my mind. America can get SO big finicially its not even funny. I’m in a game on like round 29 right now where America is well over half the Allies income and I started strong, but not sure I can get to Egypt in time as he’s picking away at my edges now.
