Thank you so much Mikawa for showing me PtV. This was my first match and I truly enjoyed it. There are so many more options than G40. The Axis capturing and holding Africa was such a game changer for the income.
I made many mistakes and hopefully will play better the next match. Your defense of the Middle East was spectacular.

2025 Classic Tournament: leemorrison (x + 6) vs Martin (X)
Lee over Martin
When the Allies completely ignore Japan and still do not manage to finish off Germany, they have not deserved to win. Even more, when the UK builds a factory and hands it over to Japan like straight away, haha.

i’ve been loving ptv, but i gotta say, axis not having can opening power is a huge setback compared to prev editions…
i trapped and crushed a sizable russian stack, wiped out the entire allied navy AND ground forces at gib, and overall had very powerful positioning with japan holding its own… until america decided to swing all in on japan and spam a million subs… that is just unstoppable… japan collapsed so fast i couldn’t even catch my breath.
idk what else i could’ve done. i think axis will need ever higher bids to compete against allied strategies like this.
