good job, chief! :)
@FlyingBadger volunteered, too, said in Post League Game Results Here:
If @pacifiersboard is playing @dawgoneit then I don’t mind playing @Arthur-Bomber-Harris for my place. If he wins then he takes my place in the 1st bracket against the winner of PacifiersBoard/Dawgoneit.
My further two cents:
@Martin may pick his volunteerABH said in Post League Game Results Here:
I would prefer playing Pacifier or another top-4 person for the play-in if that is possible.
If no one else volunteers, @TinCanoftheSea will have to do the job ^^

Since I’m not in the OOB tournament, its moot to me, but I’ll second pacifiersboard since that is probably the simplest way forward. Tincan was late to the party so he has to play an extra game to defend his right to be there. And badger and pacifier have already volunteered so they are the other 2.
The other way is just that the 6th,7th, and 8th ranked players have to play against the 11th, 10th, and 9th ranked players in order to get in the first round. That would add effectively another round and give mygames, tincan, and andrew a bye. But that might delay things too much for mygames, tincan, and Andrew since things wouldn’t start for them for a couple of months.
If no one else volunteers, @TinCanoftheSea will have to do the job ^^

Thanks, sending the message (with a tin can, of course) to TinCanoftheSea
-
@gamerman01 maybe we should do a time limit on turns to make it faster.
-
Appreciate that, Dawg, but should be fine assuming Pacifier and badger (and TinCan if he agrees) all play the 2 games concurrently.
-
OOB brackets have been redrawn and won’t be redrawn again
You all are safe to start your opening games.
Also, Pacifiers Board is playing Dawgoneit at the same time as elche.
Flying badger is playing ABH at the same time as TinCan.
TinCan is playing Martin at the same time as flying badger. Unless TinCan refuses (he did not volunteer), in which case we will find someone else to play Martin.Now. KILL KILL KILL

@gamerman01 I will play anyone. Just give me names! :-)

I just now proposed it to TinCan and assuming he agrees, he’s the buzzsaw you have an appointment with. Otherwise, we’ll get a different player to agree. If no-one agrees, you play me and if you win you are the champion

@gamerman01 am i clear to play. if so am i playing Pacifiers Board?
-
Thank you for making sure -
All the dust has cleared now, and yes you play Pacifiers Board. Take him down! :innocent: -

Who is Elche’s opponent in the OOB Playoffs? He is hanging there all alone on place 5.

Besides that, I still don’t understand what is written in lines 59 to 62. But that’s fine. I will pay against Tincan and go from there :-) -
Thanks Martin,
There are 3 players added in. 2 are at the bottom of the bracket. The 3rd is dawgoneit with Pacifier’s Board. That is an odd number, so it looks a little odd.
Pacifier’s Board is to play dawgoneit and elche at the same time.
If elche wins over Pacifier, elche advances.
Pacifier’s Board has to beat both elche and dawgoneit to advance.
Dawgoneit has to beat Pacifier’s Board, and Pacifier’s Board has to beat elche for Dawgoneit to advance. -
You are playing TinCanoftheSea and he is playing flying badger at the same time. (He agreed to this)
If you beat TinCan and TinCan beats badger, then you advance to the 2nd round. Otherwise you are eliminated.
We thought this was better than having a separate bracket of just 2-3 players. And you don’t have to face the #1 in the first round because of this.

It’s a bit confusing and different, but for the record, I have heard zero complaints about it so far. Maybe they don’t understand it enough to complain :face_with_rolling_eyes:
-
Haha, I really feel stupid. The only way for me to avoid any doubt is to just beat them all! :sunglasses:

Seems to be “Just get the lead and then throw it away baby!” this season :football:
-
I don’t see the problem with the original way of doing it.

Intention has been to have everyone get a chance both to play more than just one playoff game and to play for championship that way. Plus everyone gets involved into a game right away even with odd number of players.
