Bidding.
I am sure this has been discussed at some point.
Option 1: Today side A bids, then side B counters and side A goes again. Sometimes this goes on for many rounds
Option 2: How about side A bid X for allies. Then side B gets to choose side.
What is better, 1 or 2?
-
Sounds like it gives side B an advantage.
-
in option 2 I mean.

Okey, maybe. Side A is supposed to bid the minimum he would take allies for…

Depends. Between equal players I’d say 1, while 2 for players of uneven strength. Or maybe rather 3, which would be more of a discussion/negotiation.

I think the better (on paper) player should be side A
-
Actually, 2 won’t really work when not more or less evenly matched players. I believe the bidding process is out of play then.

You know, I’m going to play the playoffs this year. Had hoped to reach the finals, but not to be this time.

OK, I just saw I need to go back through this thread. Somehow there were several posts that I couldn’t see before. I am terribly sorry to those who properly signed up and then I said that you didn’t. Honest mistake.
