There is also a new officially stable version available from the website. It is 2.7 framework.

When I said “just read this” I meant that I had just recently read it. Not saying you need to just read 😅

And for anyone else checking this thread, unless you have the most current client the URL for registering dice is wrong. Register at https://dice.triplea-game.org/

NOT at dice.marti.triplea-game.org which is where the client and older links will take you

@Stucifer Reading that thread seems to indicate that we need to upgrade to latest version of triplea 2.7. I don’t see how to point to the new server using version 2.6. In fact, I don’t see how to change server address in any version of triplea play by forum.

However, I’m kinda puzzled, because it seems like version 2.6 does talk to the right server. I went to the new site to register myself and my opponent, but it did not work. Test just yields the notice dialog (attached) and hangs.

I upgraded to the latest version, now apparently called: 2026

Is this not the right one to be on, or is it OK?

@surfer Sorry, I once again lacked clarity in my statement. The newest version is 2026-06.16.15640 and is the new Stable release replacing 2.5.22294 which has been out for 6 years.
Previous builds before this Stable release they were calling it 2.7.15xxx.

The newest version is what they are also switching over the Play Online lobbies to utilize, but I haven’t personally used a newer version than 2.7.15274 which had some bugs.

@Stucifer Ok. I installed version 2026. I used the new server https://dice.triplea-game.org/ to register. But from the startup screen
If I click test server, I get the error that my emails are not registered.

The new server has an additional verification step that was not used previously. You have to confirm the dice server registration by email link.

I’m assuming that once my opponent registers his email as well, the game will go as previous.

Do we need to also upgrade our Triple-A?

Something isn’t right. I have tried registering on that web address and even with the latest stable it still says email not registered.

Might be working after verifying the registration.
