I don’t play many games a year, and it happens to me rather frequently. It was a significant annoyance, but the edit mode solution takes care of it entirely

I mean, sure, many times it’s a hit to a battleship anyway. I do understand what you mean about it often not being an issue.
But I’ve found that it too often is an issue. It’s nowhere near 90% in my experience.
Regardless,
- league rules have been amended a bit,
- the edit mode solution is starting to be spread, and most importantly,
- various players discovered they had assumed Triple A was following the rules and consequently learned how the game is supposed to be played. And it is a significant difference to game play and strategy, to be sure.

It has come to my attention that a player who uses a different link to the ELO standings spreadsheet than the one posted in the League rules has a different, and lesser, experience.
A link posted by MrRoboto in his unveiling thread was one such link,
That did not give the user the ability to enter a name into the “results” tab.This is a very important feature that all are intended to have access to, the ability to type in your own or any other gamer’s name and see their complete detail history in the league, across all versions, which now includes Classic!
Use the link in the League rules, to ELO rankings, towards the top of the rules.

Are league players aware that for quite a while Triple-A has had an autosave feature. After every move phase, before and after battle phases and at the end of a turn a save is made automatically into the “autoSave” subdirectory of the default save game directory/folder.

Where do I find our latest stats?
I want to no how many of each game I’ve played. -
The rankings used to be stickied and easy to find. Unfortunately they are now “hidden” in the 2025 league rules. Click on the ELO rating.

I am happy to tell you I killed that rule a year or two ago.
No limits, you can play the same guy 20 times a year and never play anyone else and that is now allowed.

Also put the link in bold, which is pretty close to the top of the league rules which of course ALL league players should be reading before they start
