    3 Fighters edited back to the board, 2 to London and 1 to India.

    Diced in sz 110; agreed there. You didn’t go light or anything; although I think 1 fighter could have went sz 97 instead. Sometimes I risk the US bomber to help the UK out in that type of situation. I think the US could afford the loss more.

    SZ 37 was rough but I don’t think it was played most optimally IMHO. I think you went unnecessarily light there. When I see you play Japan, you send all planes and don’t screw around. But with the UK, you just did the opposite. I think it would have worked out better if the tac. bomber and the other fighter was used. Then leave the cruiser as a blocker so you could stack Burma with everything to protect your planes or don’t even mess with attacking the Cruiser in the first place. If you plan to attack the cruiser; maybe even land the Chinese fighter in Burma since the UK stuff would be going there. Japan would be suiciding it’s air force if trying to air only hit Burma. I probably wouldn’t do that without some ground units to soak hits from the Philippines and FIC. I remember a multi-game with you as my teammate where I was Germany and about to attack a wounded UK Battleship in SZ104. I was about to go light (just 1 tac / 1 fig), you said, stop, don’t do that, you might miss and let the battleship roll 2x.

    I don’t think the UK was diced in SZ 97 however. Diced did lean Italy’s way, I agree there. Also, 1 more unit sent to fight in the SZ97 battle and no scramble.

    The battle calc for sz 97 says average units left IF attacker won is 2.4 to 2.6. The UK won with 1 unit left which means “1.4 to 1.6” more units than the battle calc dice average before the first roll. This is a coin toss battle if the UK’s average units left is 2 + a decimal. At least in my opinion. 20% or 1 out 5 times, Italy will keep it’s battleship and win with those dice odds. That battle came close, but the Axis also lost 3 planes as well. It Italy wins that battle, I don’t think that’s a dicing because it’s not a foregone conclusion that the UK gets to win it.

    You are right about 97. Seven attackers invites a scramble - and, yes I did ‘win’. Nonetheless, you still hit 7 of 8 rolls…

    As for 37 - sure, I could have used more - but I should not have had to. I would have been fine losing the ship. Losing both was silly.

    The bottom line was this - were odds in place that one of those should go only average at best for me - yes. However ALL three went against me…that is the part I don’t get…other than its dice. I guess.

    As for editing back units - that is ok - but, isn’t really in the spirit of the game. And, you added too many as it was. At BEST, I would take 1 ftr in UK and that is all. The rest is just what happens sometimes…
