@RisingSun I had similar experience, I was big into the naval miniatures but couldn’t afford both. I bought a lot on ebay a year or so ago and have played a few games. It is not difficult to learn especially if you are familiar with the navy side, it’s pretty similar but includes facing. I think it’s a great game and wish I had collected it some when it was active.

I’d like to play some of the units first to base my opinion on something… but I have some doubts and comments about the new units.

Okay, does anyone who has loaded in this game want to try this?

I buy mine off of ebay, If your patient you can catch good deals.

Something like MechanizedWarfare suggested works best; US & UK vs GE usually works well. A free-for-all is interesting to do sometimes, but often it simply ends up with two players joining up against the third who doesn’t have a chance.

The trick to aircraft is you actually have to practice patience.

Don’t place them if you can’t get a good attack in with them.  Take out your opponents AA units with fast attacking forces; units like motorcycles, cavalry, and even some armoured cars were well. Once you’ve elminated them you should have air superiority.  The trick is to get them out as fast as you can, because until then you’re opponent has a point advantage on you.
